What you see is not always what you get.

"Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and depart from evil.”

My perceptions must be directed by Gods Divine principles. Otherwise how will I be able to define evil? I think it would be very naive of me to pretend that evil doesn’t exist. Should I go through life with an excessively simple and trusting view of human nature? No! God has given me a new perspective by shedding His light where darkness couldn’t has no idea of the glory of Gods wisdom. This is the spiritual insight that allows me to separate myself from what I know is wrong.

I must say I am woefully guilty of getting rid of my books and leaning on the internet to get the information I need. On my desktop I use “the Word” bible software and I have the “Faith Life” Study Bible integrated on my cell. I hardly carry a bible anymore except maybe to preach. The fact remains, the authority of scripture caries weight.

Today there are lots of opinions and then the internet tops it off with outright false doctrine everywhere you go. It can be very confusing. Who do you believe? I want you to remember something so important it could mean the difference between deception and divine revelation. An honest relationship with God is founded on Scripture not man and a gospel that preaches mercy without justice is not complete. (Romans 10:17)
